How your data is handled

This page explains how personal data of visitors to enneagramma.netlify.app is handled, under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. What data is collected

Data you provide through the contact form:

your name
your email address
the text of your message

Data collected automatically: as with any website, the server records the IP address, the date and time of the visit and the browser type. These are the ordinary technical logs needed to operate and secure the site.

3. Why it is processed, and on what basis

To reply to you. Form data is used solely to answer your enquiry. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To keep the site running securely. The server's technical logs. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your data is not used for newsletters or marketing, is never sold or passed to third parties, and is not subject to automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Cookies and tracking

This site uses no cookies. No session cookies, no profiling cookies. No Google Analytics or any other analytics or tracking tool. No advertising pixels. No localStorage or sessionStorage.

Typefaces are hosted directly on this site: displaying them involves no connection to any external server, and therefore no disclosure of your IP address to third parties.

That is why you see no consent banner: with no cookies to authorise, there is nothing to consent to.

5. Where the data is stored

The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., a company based in the United States, acting as data processor. Messages sent through the contact form are stored on Netlify's systems and accessible only to the data controller.

To be verified

Transferring data to the United States requires a lawful transfer mechanism (EU-US Data Privacy Framework participation, or standard contractual clauses). Check Netlify's current status in its own notice (netlify.com/privacy) and state it here.

6. How long it is kept

To be decided

State how long received messages are kept (24 months from last contact is a common choice, but the decision rests with the controller).

Server technical logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider.

7. Your rights

At any time you may ask to:

know what data of yours is held, and receive a copy (access);
have it corrected, if inaccurate (rectification);
have it deleted (erasure);
restrict or object to its processing;
receive it in a machine-readable format (portability).

To exercise these rights, simply write to mfailoni.eurocom@gmail.com. If you believe the processing of your data breaches the Regulation, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority in your country of residence.
